So it is still hot here in Boise. Really. Really. Hot. And while I do love an afternoon in the sun, I think I like cool drinks on a shady patio even better. Today I was thinking about making up a couple of my standard summer refreshers, (gin and tonic with a twist of lime) for J and me when I decided to find a new drink to beat the heat. And, like all good 20 somethings (soon to be 30 -eek!) I turned to Google for help. I found a fun quiz to take that tells you your cocktail personality and it was so quick and cute I thought I’d share it with all of you.
My drink: The caipirinha. Turns out I was right on track with my favored lime, but now I can try a Brazilian version of my standby. It sounds great to me… I’ll let you know how it turns out!
Here’s the description for the quiz…
“Fruity, funny and with a touch of the Brazilian fiesta about you, the caipirinha is the tipple for you. You’re as fresh as the cut limes in the drink, but still as sweet as the sugar they put in it. Just as an aside… both J and I are deep in the midst of a job search here in Boise. So far, no one seems to be hiring, but I’m going to get my social work license, LMSW, (which means taking a long, awful test) and then hopefully I’ll be more employable. Keep your fingers crossed!
