I had so much fun doing the Sew Mama Sew give-away, that I thought I’d continue sharing the love and give you all a little early Christmas gift – holiday gift tags! All you need to do is download the PDF file, print it out on some nice card stock and attach them to all the fun Christmas goodies you’re going to be giving out! (FYI – the colors of the tags are showing up quite a bit brighter on the web than they actually are, for an accurate viewing you’ll need to download the file by clicking on the link below…)

J and I are getting ready for a fun evening of baking Christmas cookies with one of his professor’s daughters… It should be a blast and I promise to post some photos of our creations along with my absolute favorite sugar cookie and frosting recipes, compliments of my mother-in-law. They are amazing!

Hi everyone! Wow, what a fun day give-away day was! Many thanks to all who stopped by my blog to participate – I hope you come back again soon. If you get the chance please read through all the lovely comments on everyone’s Christmas traditions. I had such fun reading about all the different traditions and am inspired to start a few more of our own!

One of our Christmas traditions is to give the kids new pajamas on Christmas Eve and then they wear them to bed that night.

I so wish I could give away a special Christmas gift to everyone that came by and posted such wonderful comments… But that is not to be, so instead I’ll leave you all with one of my favorite holiday poems. (This is only the first stanza, read here for the poem in entirety.)

One of my favorite blogs during the holiday season is over at Sew Mama Sew where they celebrate the upcoming Christmas season by sharing a month of tutorials and wonderful gift ideas with their Handmade Holidays. This year they have also come up with a great idea for a collective blog give-away day. I love any excuse to spend extra time crafting, and what better time to have a give-away than to kick of the start of my new blog! Definitely a win-win all around.

Anyway, in the next few weeks I’ll be posting the project I’ve been working on for the give-away – I think you’ll really like it!
